Rohail's Story
Rohail was an addict for 15 years. After several failed suicide attempts he ended up in a Christian treatment centre. Having completed the programme he continued as a volunteer, staff member and eventually assistant programme leader.

Rohail heard about ISAAC while working for Ibtida in Pakistan and soon became a member. After much perseverance, and with the assistance of an ISAAC scholarship, he was able to attend the ISAACS training course in Egypt this year.

Rohail found the ISAACS training hugely beneficial, as he was able to gain valuable expertise and understanding in addiction-related issues.  He is now planning to set up an aftercare centre providing many recovering addicts who are currently facing jobless futures with the vocational skills and training they need to start new lives in the community.

"" The training I have received on the ISAACS course will help me minister to the many addicts in Pakistan who are ignored by the rich, living in poor communities and unable to afford expensive treatment. ""
