On the 27th May ISAAC members and potential members from across the UK gathered for a networking meeting at the St. Georges Crypt in Leeds. Over 25 delegates attended representing a broad spectrum of Christian service providers, churches and outreach organisations. As well as getting to know one another, delegates were able to share challenges and successes from their own projects and discuss how an ISAAC UK network might be able to support them in the future.

Topics covered during the meeting included 'Women in recovery', 'Starting a new project', 'Fundraising - A lifestyle' and 'Addiction - What's working'.

At the meeting representatives were chosen to participate in a planning group which has been established to explore the possibility of a UK wide conference around the topic of ‘Addiction and the Church’. Plans have also been made to get together again in October.
