On Saturday 15th August, Treflyn – ISAAC International’s General Secretary walked 25 miles (39 km.) up the three tallest peaks in Northern England to raise funds for the network.

treflyn-walkIn Western countries, people are willing to give money to charity if someone takes up a tough physical challenge! Treflyn was hoping to raise £1000 as he informed his friends and well-wishers his intention to do this challenge. But we have been overwhelmed by people’s support and the total donations have exceeded £1300!

After the long walk Treflyn shared, “I had really good weather for the walk, thanks to many people’s prayers. I finished in 10 hours and 15 minutes while I was aiming for 12 hours. It was a great chance to be in beautiful countryside. I am so greatful for everyone who prayed for this walk and everyone who has made donations.”

Our funds go towards connecting, encouraging and equipping people working in addictions and recovery.
