ISAAC Poland conference 2017 – Reflections

28th February 2017 ISAAC News 0

There was such a buzz of activity and energy at the recent ISAAC Poland Conference in Warsaw. About 150 delegates joined together over four days to worship God, get valuable training in a variety of disciplines, and hear stories of freedom from across the world.

The sessions were kicked off with ISAAC Steering Committee member and founder of Betel, Elliot Tepper inspiring us with God’s word. There was a distinctly international flavor, among all our speakers and delegates.

UK delegate Peter Smith shared, “It was a joy to be at the February ISAAC Conference in Poland. The highlights for me were connecting with old and making new friends who serve on the front-line; as well as the excellent workshops. I was mightily encouraged by the amazing ways God is working in rehab ministries across the world. I was especially blessed by the vibrant, liberating, worship and the welcome from Polish friends. We felt so welcome in the superb Polish Pentecostal College”.

The topics that were covered over the course of the conference included: being a Christian in a difficult secular environment, motivational interviewing, self care through journaling and Christian meditation, engaging with the church and a variety of approach-specific sessions.

Genesis Process leader Alison shared: “It was a privilege to be able to equip many Polish members and people from other parts of the world with some of the effective Genesis tools. I was encouraged by the way the tools that I shared were appreciated. Please pray with us for all who participated in the conference that they (we) will have the courage and understanding to apply all they learnt”.
